EHG completed initial Memoru product development in 2019; recently tested enhanced versions in the US; being piloted by an HIV provider in South Carolina.
To help PrEP users maintain consistent medication adherence, EHG developed Memoru a HIPAA-compliant mobile (Android/iOS) and web platform tailored for individuals at high risk of HIV infection. According to the CDC, a daily PrEP pill (e.g., Truvada) can drastically reduce new HIV infections among at-risk men who have sex with men (MSM) and other high-risk groups. More than 1.6 million individuals could potentially benefit from PrEP, which is overwhelmingly effective when taken consistently, every day. Memoru’s key features include daily pill reminders, positive psychology messaging, educational resources, and real-time adherence tracking. Providers can quickly identify patients who need extra support, reducing the likelihood of lapses in medication adherence.
