Healthy Eating & Prevention of Pregnancy Complications
Americans are getting more obese by the minute, prompting the CDC (2024) to declare obesity a national epidemic with far-reaching effects on our country’s health. Obesity and related chronic conditions disproportionately affect Latino populations, with 80% of Latina women now classified as overweight or obese, compared to 66% of white women.
