DEMENTIA AND ELDERLY CARE
EHG leverages advanced digital solutions to enhance dementia care, caregiver support, and disease prevention. Key strategies include a cloud-based care delivery system for seamless coordination, smart prompts for managing sleep and behavioral disturbances, and a self-monitoring and assessment system to improve care efficiency. Additionally, Mobile Health (mHealth) tools promote brain health, and reduce stigma in high risk populations.

SLUMBER
Building on our previous digital health successes, Slumber is a technology-enabled system designed to deliver evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI) tailored specifically for older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and insomnia. This mobile and web-based platform offers a comprehensive suite of sleep improvement tools, from six focused video modules on sleep education, hygiene, scheduling, stimulus control, worry management, and relapse prevention, to real-time sleep analysis, self-evaluation, and goal-setting features. With a design that reduces cognitive load and incorporates smart messaging prompts, Slumber adapts the traditional CBTI approach for an audience with unique needs.
Product Validation:
EHG conducted initial formative evaluations with both patients and providers, followed by a six-week pilot trial that demonstrated improvements in sleep quality. Feedback from these tests has been directly integrated into enhancing the Slumber app, setting the stage for next-phase clinical evaluations.
CARE DELIVERY OPTIMIZATION
EHG has analyzed best practices across the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, and generated systematic approaches to improve management and optimize care delivery for organizations or facilities that focus on dementia care. We provide leadership workshops, online training, and consultant services in facility design, culture adaptation, quality control, and employee support to foster the long-term development of organizations or facilities and make the delivery system more cost-efficient and effective.

PATIENT-CENTERED TECHNOLOGIES FOR CAREGIVER INTERVENTIONS
EHG combines advanced technology with comprehensive training to empower both family and professional caregivers in dementia care. We offer self-directed online and in-person courses covering essential skills, including dementia basics, daily assistance, communication strategies, behavioral management, activity planning, environmental design, and caregiver support. Participants can earn certifications upon completion, helping them enhance their skills and advance their careers. In collaboration with leading dementia associations, we are setting new standards for high-quality caregiver training.
