Initial product development was completed in 2022, an initial pilot evaluation study showed decreases in systolic blood pressure, enhanced medication adherence and strong user engagement and appeal.
Memento.HTN is a digital health platform integrated with SMS technology to improve medication adherence for African Americans with hypertension. This NIH-funded project was developed and evaluated to address the significant impact of hypertension on this underserved community. By combining accessible technology with practical adherence strategies, Memento.HTN aims to enhance treatment engagement and ultimately improve blood pressure control among at-risk populations.
