Dr. Hongtu Chen, PhD, is a founder of EHG, and an internationally recognized expert on dementia and elder care in the U.S.  He has led technology-driven initiatives, including self-directed online training programs for dementia caregivers, a certification program for dementia care workers, and online communities supporting family caregivers as well as interventions to promote brain health for persons with mild cognitive impairment. Dr. Chen has designed and conducted randomized clinical trials focused on improving behavioral health care and dementia care. In addition to his work at EHG, Dr. Chen is a health intervention research scientist and assistant professor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
